“Don’t Kill the Butterfly”

Check out this great pro-life song from country duo Bluefield:

Jill Stanek reports on Butterfly and Bluefield here and here. As of early April the duo says they heard from three girls who changed their minds about having an abortion after hearing the song. Their MySpace page features many comments from people on how this song affected them.

One commenter under the video on You Tube says: “I wish this song was around like 5 years ago then maybe my butterfly would be here :'(“ Pray that she gets the healing she needs as she adds at the end: “Makes me feel like a low life person when I hear stuff like this.”

Those looking for post abortion healing should visit Project Rachel or any of these other support and recovery groups – including some for men

  1. I just wanted to say I was so touched by your song that I placed a (I think) fan made video on my myspace page and in a bulletin. Hopefully everyone I know who sees it will be equally touched. Thank you for making this, and as I sit here thinking I’m expecting yet again, I’m glad there are people out there like you, working to keep people like me from making a horrible mistake. I do not believe in “abortion” but I was considering “Plan B” and I’m so glad I didn’t. I found the video a few days later and it really made me feel I had made the right decision. God bless.

  2. I think they are having problems with their myspace page. I added them as a friend, it told me it accepted it and then I tried to access it today and it say’s this account is experiencing difficulty and or had been deleted. Do they have their own website? If so I would really like to know.

    Thanks,

    Anna
