Dear readers, sorry for the lack of posts so far this week. I anticipate being absent a bit longer as I try, unsuccessfully so far, to figure out a very strange medical problem Ive been having for the past few days. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

January 27, 2010 @ 8:52 amThanks. Bob! No, I hadn’t seen that article, but I’ll check it out!
January 27, 2010 @ 10:56 amI spent a mid-morning hour in cold, dark I.C. Church today, praying the rosary and just “being with the Lord.” Maybe my prayers were for you without my knowing it. Somedays I’m very specific in my intentions. Somedays I leave it up to Our Lady to decide who is most in need. Hoping you feel better soon.
January 27, 2010 @ 5:13 pmThanks, Wayne! Hopefully Our Lady has me on her prayer list! I’m still not quite sure what’s going on with me. I’m not *sick*, just having some dysreflexia (click here for a definition of that) when I do certain things, which causes quite a bit of pain and discomfort. I’ve been seeking the intercession of our beloved Edel Quinn.
January 28, 2010 @ 10:59 pmChelsea — prayers up for you … have you ever looked into YoungLiving (therapeutic) oils? One (or two) in particular may be helpful to you. Frankincense oil is for irritations/swellings/stress. Just an enormously helpful oil. They also have Lavender which is incredible for any type of actual skin abrasion issue; burns, scrapes, etc. They have another oil that might help you that’s called Brain Power. You could look into that one if you think it might apply; it helps bring oxygen to the brain. I use about 4-6 oils daily from YL. Just punch in YoungLiving with Frankincense, and you’ll get some links to look at. It is heavenly stuff! Any questions, just ask. And I’ll put you up on our prayer list on The Rosary Online.
January 29, 2010 @ 11:52 amI also wanted to send you this thread on a singer/songwriter who regrets the abortion of his child. He said it took him a couple of decades to write. Abortion is so robbing of one’s soul. Here is the link:

I’ve been praying for you all along, but I’ll definitely add your special intention to them! God bless & keep you, Chelsea; you’re a shining star of sanity in a world gone mostly-mad!

January 31, 2010 @ 7:44 pmCZ, that link you provided on dysreflexia has me worried. Have they made any further diagnosis?
