As I am working on my testimony for a possible Senate hearing about the joint resolution to ban cloning here in MO, I thought I would post my previous letters and testimonies on this subject, in case you’re interested. I will also put them on an information page to your right. SB 160 a ban on human cloning in Missouri: … Read More
Adventures in Politics
Today was the beginning of my latest adventure. I accepted a position as an intern for one of our state reps. and will be working at the Capitol 3 days a week. I am working for Representative Ed Emery from the southwest corner of Missouri. He is wonderful and very pro-life and I am really looking forward to working with … Read More
How Sweet It Is!
How ’bout them Gators?! So I have to take a little personal blog time here to mention the FL Gator’s National Championship win last night. If I didn’t mention it on my info page, I am a huge Florida fan. Both of my parents graduated from the University of Florida and I’ve been watching Florida football for as long as … Read More
Cheers!
This is how we roll in Newborn (GA). Here’s a nice pic of my family toasting one of many DTR Shooters this Christmas. We returned home Friday evening and I’m finally starting to feel a little normal again. It was a long and exhausting trip (I think we were on the road more than we were visiting relatives), but it … Read More
Glory to God in the Highest!
And peace to His people on earth! Merry Christmas everyone! I finally made it to a computer with wireless access. My dad, sister and I had to go to Starbucks this morning to get online – it’s not working too well at my Grandmother’s house. I just wanted to send you all a quick note from south Florida. We actually … Read More

Seven Year Itch
Today marks the 7th year of my spinal cord injury and thus my 7th year in a wheelchair. Never, before last year, have I actually recognized this occasion or made a big deal about it. But I now see it as an opportunity to share what I have come to realize through my disability. In my original reflections I noed … Read More
We’re Drowning in Snow!
So the forcasters actually got it right this time. Yesterday morning we got about 14 inches of snow along with about 2 inches of ice. I can’t really remember the last time we got this much snow here. I still have yet to venture out onto the roads, ours didn’t get plowed until about 5:00 last night. The dogs are … Read More
Pro-Life Advocate Laid to Rest
I told you earlier that a dear friend of mine died a few days ago. Today he no doubt helped delay a pretty serious ice/snow storm so that his funeral and burial could continue as scheduled. He was an agressive defender of human life and will be sorely missed, but I believe that he will be an even greater help … Read More
The Race is on in Florida
Supporters of embryonic stem cell research are working hard to get enough signatures to put a constitutional amendment on the Florida ballot in 2008. The amendment would require the state to spend $20 million annuallly on embryonic stem cell research for 10 years. But it looks like the opposition is gathering signitures for an initiative of their own. See here … Read More
